MBABANE: Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini has commended the development of Malkerns Square, highlighting its contribution to Eswatini’s economic growth through investment in commercial, residential and recreational facilities, as well as opportunities to support local production and enterprise, Government online platforms reported on Friday.
It has been reported that, during a visit to Malkerns Square, the PM applauded the progress made in developing the complex, including the expansion of retail outlets, plans for additional residential units and a proposed hotel development, alongside the provision of sporting facilities.
“We are pleased with the work being done here and hope that the standards will be maintained as development continues. The standards demonstrated here are comparable to those found in leading shopping complexes internationally. This is the level of quality we should aspire to achieve and consistently maintain across the country. It is encouraging to see the progress achieved and the vision demonstrated through this development. It reflects the kind of investment, innovation and development that aligns with His Majesty King Mswati III’s Nkwe Mandate and our collective aspirations for the country,” said the Prime Minister.
